Managing Contacts

Use the Contacts module to store and manage the people and organizations involved in your signing workflows. This guide walks you through viewing your contacts list, adding a new contact, editing an existing one, and deleting a contact.

Prerequisites

  • You have access to the Contacts module in your Blank Sign dashboard.
  • To edit or delete a contact, at least one contact must already exist in your system.
1

Open the Contacts page

Navigate to Dashboard > Contacts. The page loads your contacts list, which displays columns for Name, Email, Phone, and Company. If no contacts have been added yet, you will see a No Results message.
2

Create a new contact

Click the New button or navigate directly to Contacts > New to open the contact creation form. Fill in the following fields:
  • Name — Enter the contact’s full name (for example, E2E Contact).
  • Email — Enter a valid email address.
  • Phone — Enter a phone number, including the country code (for example, +1555999888).
  • Company — Enter the name of the contact’s organization.
When you are finished, click the Save button.
3

Confirm the contact was saved

After clicking Save, Blank Sign either redirects you to the contacts list or displays a confirmation message indicating the contact was successfully created. You should see your new contact’s name appear in the list.
4

Edit an existing contact

From the Contacts list, locate the contact you want to update. Click the Edit button (pencil icon) next to that contact’s row to open the edit form.Update any fields as needed — for example, change the Name field to a new value. When you are done making changes, click the Save button to apply them.
5

Delete a contact

From the Contacts list, locate the contact you want to remove. Click the Delete button (trash icon) next to that contact’s row. Confirm the action when prompted to permanently remove the contact.
All four fields — Name, Email, Phone, and Company — are available on both the creation and edit forms. Fill in as much information as you have available to keep your contacts useful across documents and workflows.
If the contacts list shows No Results, create your first contact by clicking New in the top area of the Contacts page.
Deleting a contact is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you no longer need the contact before removing them from your account.
