Working with Pages

This guide walks you through the core actions for managing pages in Blank Notes, including creating, editing, duplicating, deleting, and saving pages as templates.

Prerequisites

  • You have access to your Blank Notes workspace and can reach the Dashboard
1

Open the Dashboard

Navigate to /dashboard. You should see your workspace with existing pages or an option to create a new one. The sidebar or main area will display page-related content such as existing notes or an Untitled placeholder.
2

Create a new page

Click the New Page button. After a moment, the application opens a new page editor and the URL updates to reflect the newly created page (for example, /dashboard/page/...).
If no New Page button is visible, check that you are on the correct workspace dashboard and that you have permission to create pages.
3

Edit the page title

With the new page open, click the title field at the top of the editor — it typically shows Untitled by default. Type your desired page name, for example E2E Test Page, and the title saves automatically.
Renaming a page immediately updates its label in the sidebar, making it easier to find later.
4

Mark a page as a favorite

While viewing the page, click the star (☆) icon button in the page toolbar to toggle the page as a favorite. Favorited pages are typically surfaced at the top of your sidebar for quick access.
5

Duplicate a page

Click the ⋯ (more options) button in the page toolbar or sidebar to open the page menu. Select Duplicate from the menu. A copy of the page is created and added to your workspace.
Duplicating a page is useful when you want to reuse an existing structure or layout without modifying the original.
6

Delete a page

Click the ⋯ (more options) button to open the page menu, then select Trash (or Delete). The page is removed from your active workspace.
Deleted pages may be recoverable from a Trash area depending on your workspace settings. Check your workspace’s trash or recycle bin if you need to restore a page.
7

Save a page as a template

Click the ⋯ (more options) button to open the page menu, then select Template. The page is saved as a reusable template that can be applied when creating future pages.
Use templates for page structures you reuse often, such as meeting notes, project briefs, or weekly reports.
All page actions — duplicating, deleting, and saving as a template — are accessible from the same ⋯ menu, keeping your workspace toolbar uncluttered.
