Managing Work Orders

This guide walks you through accessing the Work Order list and opening a new Work Order form in the Manufacturing module.

Prerequisites

  • You have access to the Manufacturing module in Blank ERP

Open the Work Order list

In the main navigation, go to Manufacturing > Work Order. The page will load displaying all existing work orders in the system.

Create a new Work Order

From the Work Order list, click the New button or navigate directly to the new Work Order form. The blank Work Order form will open, ready for you to enter details.
Work Orders are used to track and manage production activities. Make sure all required production data — such as items and bills of materials — are configured before creating a work order.
Use the Work Order list to monitor the status of all active and completed production orders in one place.
