Enter the customer

In the Customer field, type or select the customer name for this order.

Add items to the order

In the items table, locate the first empty row and fill in the following:
  • The item name in the text field (e.g., Widget A)
  • The quantity in the first number field (e.g., 5)
  • The unit price in the last number field (e.g., 200)

Sales orders follow a document lifecycle. A newly created order starts in Draft status and must be Submitted before it can be used to generate delivery notes or invoices.
You can save a sales order in Draft status and return to edit it later. Once submitted, the order is locked and can only be amended through a formal amendment process.
